To know Kirk Alexander is to…hear a lot of Kirkisms. That’s what we call the seemingly endless supply of quotable nuggets he’s unabashedly stolen from greats like Robert Frost and James Muir. Favorites include “Good fences make good neighbors” (averred with all the poesy Frost intended) and “Prescription without diagnosis is malpractice.” You see what we’re dealing with?
But anyway, here’s the stuff you really want to know: Kirk is an experienced founder and senior executive leader who is more walk than talk (thankfully). He has a wealth of experience implementing tech-based strategies to maximize efficiency and delivery.
Kirk has heavily focused in IT, SaaS, healthtech, medical device distribution, and medical practice throughout his career and is well-versed in C-suite level healthcare management, working with physicians, and consulting for healthcare organizations. He enjoys geeking out the MIS/IT, operations, financial planning and analysis, human capital, and contracting solutions that take startups from $1 million to $10 million ARR.
A few of his career highlights:
- A whopping 300% revenue growth in his first 3 years as COO at The Center for Bone and Joint Surgery
- Developed custom software for an industry-specific ERP that successfully spun off as a separate SaaS org
- 52% revenue growth in 1 year as COO of a dental practice (Worth noting: This was during the height of the pandemic when folks were even less excited to go to the dentist than they usually are)
- Sale of a multi-site dental practice to private equity, resulting in a (cha-ching!) lucrative exit
Kirk also has experience in the manufacturing, industrial, construction, real estate, government, and not-for-profit sectors.
When he’s not working, you can find Kirk cheering on the Travieso polo team at the National Polo Center, sipping a good Rhone in his wine cellar, or supporting the Boys and Girls Club of Wellington, FL.
We’ll leave you with a final wine-inspired Kirkism: “Never turn down the opportunity to decant.” (Want to know what it means? Book a call with Kirk and he’ll explain it.)
